A historic four-year international peacebuilding tour will climax in Washington DC on Tuesday September 29th with United Forever: Facing Our Future. The global broadcast aims to give voice to the silent supermajority that believes we must stand together in the face of the great challenges of our time.

Jansikwe Medina-Tayac is an 18 year old indigenous climate justice advocate. She has worked with Zero Hour, the people’s climate movement, and youth climate strike to organize protests and events in the DC area. Jansi also makes mini documentaries about environmental racism and climate injustice.
Rev. Sylvia Sumter
Unity of Washington DC
Rev. Sylvia E. Sumter is currently the senior minister of Unity of Washington, D.C., and has served in this position since 1991. She previously served as the Chairperson of the Communication Studies and Skills Department for Unity Institute and Seminary in Unity Village, Missouri. Rev. Sumter was licensed as a minister in 1986 and ordained a Unity minister in 1987. She has also spoken and administered spiritual teachings to others through her work prior to, during, and after ministerial school. Rev. Sumter’s academic accomplishments include a Masters of Education, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Associate of Arts in Business Administration.
Chief Dwaine Perry
Dwaine Perry, Chief of the Ramapough-Lunaape Nation, is a lifelong champion for indigenous, civil and human rights. A Vietnam war veteran, he later earned a bachelor’s degree from Pace University and an MS in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire. Chief Perry has sat with Elders and indigenous leaders in the Himalayas, The Andes and throughout North America seeking and coalescing the seeds of unity and truth remaining in the colonized mind. Currently Chief Perry is working to establish the First Embassy of Sovereign Indigenous Nations of the Western Hemisphere.

50 States, One Dream
United Forever will climax with a powerful flag ceremony presented by May Peace Prevail on Earth. First, the flags of the 50 US States will be unfurled with each flag empowered with our affirmations and prayers for peace to prevail throughout the land. We seek to uplift the vision of a nation united across lines on the map that can often serve to divide, while honoring the soul purpose and mission of each of the US States.
Many Nations, One Hope
To close the event, the flags of each of the 193 nations of the world along with the International Indigenous Unity Flag will join the flags of the 50 US States in a symphony of peace prayers blessing and igniting the divine spark within the global heart. Together we aim to anchor the dreams and hopes of oneness and unity for our human family.

Since 2016, UNITY EARTH’s global Road to 2020 event series has hosted groundbreaking and diverse gatherings in Africa, India, Australia, Canada and the Middle East. The series culminates with the Caravan of Unity across America and beyond.
